The initial consultation, treatment and follow up were all handled extremely professionally but with a nice 'human touch' and I was always made to feel that a great outcome was what the team were after ensuring. From my initial consultation, treatment, review and discharge the whole process was seamless. The staff at the Vein centre in Reading were so friendly, professional and I would recommend the centre following my excellent experience. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone who is worried about their veins . From the moment I walked into the reception I was made to feel comfortable and relaxed and confident that I had made the right decision to have a consultation with D.R Mark Bratby and his team. Lovely kind nurse Kim and the receptionist Mrs Parris who made me feel completely relaxed, safe and at ease. After a painless procedure ,I am very happy with the results and very glad that I chose to go ahead and have the treatment.

My overall experience has been exceptional. I was made to feel to comfortable and relaxed as soon as I entered the clinic. All staff was friendly and welcoming. The treatment was explained clearly and I was also made aware of the realistic outcome to expect with the overall treatment even though I had hoped possibly for a slightly better result. My treatment hasn’t gone as smoothly as I’d hoped, I have encountered a couple of minor issues but the aftercare has been really helpful and I have been given good advise to support my issues and reassured they will settle with time.

I had my veins treated in September 2022 by Dr. Wigham. The while experience was good, everyone was very friendly. Dr. Wigham and the nurse talked through the procedure and made me feel relaxed. I returned for a follow up in November 2022. The treatment had gone well insofaras my leg is smooth and residual discolourisation is gradually disappearing. U fortunately the side of my leg which had treatment is with some degree of numbness. I have since had a recent check to make sure all is ok - and it is. Dr. Wigham and I are hopeful the numbness will disappear.
