Very poor care for the aged in this hospital. DANGEROUS ! The place is a death sentence, stay away from this hospital if you are terminally ill, or deemed to be terminally ill by the hospital without full proof/real diagnosis. Our family member, trusted this hospital, and so did our family. We all learned the hard way, which lead to death of our loved one. Our dear relative died due to hospital staff removing life saving drugs, starvation, dehydration naivety and trust in them, also lack of care. THIS WAS NOT A DIGNIFYING DEATH, it was a premature death due to doctors deciding time is up. He/she was placed on the Liverpool care pathway without informing the patient or us, the family. I have left a one star rating for this Hospital. However, it should be a no star rating.

We were treated at the fertility unit at the hospital. The staff were incredibly sensitive and friendly and empathic. It was our third treatment, our first at this hospital, and for the first time we felt listened to and sympathised with. Although we did not have a positive outcome, we still have fond and grateful memories of the care we received. Great job, folks. (We're now the very happy and proud parents of an adopted child).

Better communication whether or not Specialist Nursing Staff will be seeing you. Told that I will be seen during that day (asked several times as to when) BUT nobody turned up – evidently particular nurse had gone home. Not good enough. Good communication is paramount to relieve a patient’s anxiety. I have only just become aware of this site. I was discharged on the 21 August 2013. I also believe that this site should have some way to determine whether the person writing the review was/has been a patient/carer/family member/a college/member of staff otherwise anybody could be giving glowing accounts when the opposite is the case. I suppose all needs to be taken with a “pinch of salt”. A patients Hospital Registration Number perhaps (815407) BUT then again that could be false. I shall read the “Terms and Conditions” at my leisure - :-)

Very professional service, extremely clean hospital. Pleasant and helpful reception staff. Altogether satisfied patient!
