Share review of Queen Elizabeth Hospital
Better communication whether or not Specialist Nursing Staff will be seeing you. Told that I will be seen during that day (asked several times as to when) BUT nobody turned up – evidently particular nurse had gone home. Not good enough. Good communication is paramount to relieve a patient’s anxiety.
I have only just become aware of this site. I was discharged on the 21 August 2013. I also believe that this site should have some way to determine whether the person writing the review was/has been a patient/carer/family member/a college/member of staff otherwise anybody could be giving glowing accounts when the opposite is the case. I suppose all needs to be taken with a “pinch of salt”. A patients Hospital Registration Number perhaps (815407) BUT then again that could be false.
I shall read the “Terms and Conditions” at my leisure - :-)
