My step dad was the patient. My mum wanted Barry home to spend the rest of their life’s together and everyone from the nurses, Anette and Dr waren made that happen. We can’t thank them enough.

It was difficult for my mum to visit Barry when he was taken to the ward in Epping- maybe try and put transport on

Have to say as a relative of a patient, it was very daunting having our mum(mother in law) being admitted to hospital. We felt as a family, we had failed our family member, but Annette, the Ward Manager of Tower Ward was amazing in reducing our concerns/guilt we felt. Her team is amazing and a true credit to the leadership from Annette. Being able to just call and speak to Annette reassured us all. When the difficult decision to put mum into care was made that bit easier that we were doing the right thing was also helped by Annette and her kind words. If we could bottle Annette and her team up and take them to the care home mum has moved to, we know the excellent care mum got during her stay in Tower Ward would continue. Keep up the amazing work, you all do great, but difficult jobs.

If there was one criticism, the environment looked tired - this didn’t impact the great care given.

Reluctant to provide detail. Inconsistant reporting of incidents, Unhelpful.

Open, transplant information to 1st line relatives provide detail of care changes, incidents fully provide family within their full rights to information regarding their loved ones so they can be their advocate in decision making dad guardian. Accross to medical notes update of drug changes update fo blood tests update of care update of physical condition.
