Needed to book an appointment to have a wound check/dressing change. Receptionist arranged this pleasantly and efficiently. Checked in via screen so no queue. Nurse appointment on time. Nurse was great, checked and measured wound, explained treatment, and booked me another appointment. All in a warm and friendly manner.

If you go into the surgery and try to make an appointment with a doctor, you are told you will have to go back home and phone in. The time spent waiting to be “YOU ARE NUMBER ONE IN THE QUEUE” is very frustrating. I will not do it.

You could make sure patients know who their Primary doctor is, it would make for a lot less nervousness.I think my doctor is Dr French, a man extruding confidence you will be listened to. Mail and messages about me go to a Dr Kochar whom I have never seen or spoken to, although it is my understanding she the wife/partner or Dr French.

I have been registered with the surgery for about 4 years and I have never had a face to face appointment with a doctor. I have had several chats oveŕ the phone with various doctors - some, not all, of them just want to fob you off with a prescription without having read your medical history or actually taking note of what you are telling them. I find this telephone consulting not fit for purpose and would like to see a return to being able to speak to a doctor face to face!

This appointment was for a blood test - reception staff and the nurse were fabulous - very welcoming, cheerful and helpful, definitely a 5 star appointment
