No improvements needed in care as I found everybody more than helpful & cheerful which helps especially if you are nervous like me.
Staff was so friendly always checking to see if I was fine, couldn't have asked for more. Thank you.
Excellent care at Sunderland Eye Infirmary. Excellent staff.
Thanks to all the consultants, doctors and nursing staff especially named nurse DAVED WHILLIANS as well as MAUREEN WATSON for their care and support.
I felt that the staff and other care professionals were very good at providing a 'personal' care.
First class service: sympathetic, courteous and no waiting. So far as I am qualified to judge, the treatment and investigation were meticulous.
Original visit to A&E was handled swiftly without a lengthy waiting time. Doctor diagnosed a torn/detached retina and within 3 hours I had laser surgery. Mr Matthews was excellent and kept me informed of what he was doing throughout. However, he felt that fluid was behind the retina and it was unlikely that the 'welds' would take satisfactorily. He recommended that I see Miss Sandinah. 4 days later I had an appointment; the following morning she operated (vitrectomy). I felt that my condition had been handled professionally, urgently and with the utmost care and concern. All further appointments were excellent and one return to A&E was faultless.
Treat with exceptional courtesy and care by reception, nurse and doctor. Thank you very much.
