Nothing was to much trouble for the team looking after me during and following cataract surgery, I was very well looked after, my husband who waited outside in his car was also kept updated with my progress as there was a slight delay, tea/coffee plentiful! Nice friendly chats which kept me calm whilst waiting! Would definitely recommend this hospital.

I was referred by Southend General Hospital under NHS and was offered a consultation within a few weeks. I found the staff and nurses extremely kind and professional and polite. Ultimately I chose to pay privately for my surgery. Parking is no problem and the cleanliness and hygiene of the building is second to none. I would certainly recommend anyone to BMI.

I understand the constraints at the present time and difficulties the staff are under however I did not feel valued as a patient. My treatment by the specialist was exemplary but unfortunately I cannot say the same about the support staff who did not seem at all organised but as I have already said the present times are strange. Hopefully the hospital will operate better when things return to normal in the future I would not wish to attend BMI Southend again

Jeddi was my consultant, he removed a cancerous carcinoma from my forehead, he was very kind and explained the procedure to me thoroughly and the care I received from him and everyone at the BMI hospital was second to none. I would recommend this hospital and medical staff most highly, thank you.
