It was for my sister who had special needs the nurses were amazing with her , very patient
All the staff were really pleasant and friendly, the procedure was explained to me in advance and I felt relaxed and happy throughout the experience
Helpful suggestions and useful device - flutter for clearing phlegm and mucus. Encouragement and friendly attitude.
On entering A&E we were quickly and efficiently dealt with by the receptionists
We were sent through to be assessed everyone was kind and very helpful and caring despite how busy they were
We were waiting to see a doctor my wife went to reception to ask if our turn was imminent as it seemed a long wait , the receptionist was really helpful and said we were nearly ready to go through at this point a doctor came from his room to shout us through he actually said we had been waiting along time because instead of shouting us from the area he was supposed to , he had gone through to the 1st reception area so obviously we didn’t hear him . To be honest we were very unhappy with the doctor in question as he didn’t fill us with confidence I’m sure he didn’t know what he was doing . I spoke to the receptionist who was very kind and who arranged for the consultant on duty to come and speak to us . He arranged for a scan he was very kind and reassuring . I went for my scan and as the shift changed a lady consultant took over my case she was lovely and sorted out some medication and we were sent home . We have never complained before as we have always had a good experience at all the local hospitals but really the young doctors attitude was something else
Didn’t wait long to be seen
When you really need care the nhs is fantastic.in most ae they r filled with time wasters who have to wait and they r mostly complaining.the care I got could not have been better.i had to wait for a bed on ward for quite a while but when I got there they were very good to me.all the staff were fabulous. The only thing I could say….. on release I had to wait 6 hours for my release letter and meds holding a bed up for the next patient.but thank you all for all you have done for me.
