Have had to visited a number of times in last couple of months (A&E) and Outpatient and I had a very good experience. More importantly my mother was brought in by ambulance to A&E and died but I thought the derive (ambulance and A&E staff) tried everything to save her and gave me time to be with her.
Only mad thing is that they built a multi storey car park which is a mad house - I aim for 45 mins to find a space.
Broomfield Hospital staff were very good and friendly ,and the whole setup very professional.
I found a problem with parking but that was my only complaint I found the unit I had treatment in was very well organised, it was very clean and staff were friendly, all my needs were met the care they gave was very good.
Everybody involved were courteous and helpful
Obviously nobody really wants to go into hospital, but if you have to, I have no hesitation in recommending the new and improved Broomfield.
I'm a regular attendee at the hospital (at least twice a quarter, following a kidney transplant in 2008) and I'm very happy with the facilities and care that I've received.
During my stay in hospital all was acceptable with my care.
My father-in-law was recently admitted to the ICU at Broomfield Hospital, and then transferred to Felsted Ward. The care he received was outstanding. The staff showed great compassion and kindness to him, as the patient, and to all family members, throughout a difficult time. The hospital was very clean and comfortable, and we feel very lucky to have an excellent service in the area that we live.
Excellant brand new hospital with great staff from cleaners to nurses all very friendly and helpful
