I attended through the NHS and as far as I can tell this made absolutely no difference to my care. I find nurses the most generous and kind people wherever I have been treated, and the ones at Benenden hospital were no exception, although I did notice the difference that they greeted each other very happily and seemed less stressed than the amazing staff in the overworked and underfunded NHS. So I would probably choose Benenden again over an NHS hospital if given the opportunity, but this is not a bad reflection on the NHS. I did like that parking was free and also stress free. I have used the hospital before and the recent building work (which was still being done when I started my treatment) has meant that the hospital feels exceptionally clean, spacious and calm.

Excellent hospital I received great care from every member of staff, from the pre operation through to after care. I had my gallbladder removed by Mr Hamouda and his team. The anaesthetist was also very skilled and very careful. The administration staff went out of their way to make convenient appointments and were cheerful and helpful. The after care in daycare was very good. I did require overnight care and the advice and care was also excellent. I made a quick recovery- it is a very clean hospital.

As a Patient that has just had a total Hip Replacement I cannot exspess what a wonderful Service this Hospital Offered From The Surgeon who conducted my operation to the Cleaner who kept my room in peckable order. Anybody who has to have a Joint replacement or any Major Surgery couldnt wish fior a better Hospital Than Benenden Hospital and all their Staff
