I have been going to this surgery for over 10 years. there is a big improvement in the reception staff in my opinion they have stepped up and are fantastic. The Dr`s, despite their workload have never let the pressure show and my children and I have always been happy with our treatment. I did have one bad experience with one Dr many years ago but I just wont make an appointment with him ever again. to be fair he probably realised the error of his ways and hopefully improved his manner. One Dr in particular stands out as exemplary (in my book) is Dr Evans who has always been there for my family and I.

Honestly the doctors is lovely inside, clean and tidy and much nicer than it used to be since it was refurbished but the appearance inside doesn't go far when the receptionists are so rude, if you are going to work as a receptionist at least have people skills and make it look like you want to be there, even on the phone you can hear the dissatisfaction of being on the phone making it a horrible experience just trying to get an appointment. If you don't ring and ask for an emergency they give you an appointment two/three weeks into the future and they wonder why people go to the hospital for no reason. I guess you are just expected to suffer for three weeks. Even if you attended that appointment you won't be seen for ages after, my longest is an hour and shortest wait was 20 minutes, I have never been seen on time and I have been going there 16 years. I have finally had enough and moved doctors, even though some of the doctors are good there, i also hate that I get seen by a new person every time and they can't seem to look at my notes to see what was discussed last time with another doctor and I had to explain. I will not miss this doctors in the slightest and would not recommend it at all. Ps. If you are waiting for a nurse to call you after the receptionists set up a phone appointment, don't bother because it will never happen.

They do need some better doctors - one or two are brilliant but the others are really awful! Also, one of the receptionists is a real battleaxe
