On 19 April NHS England have said that hospitals and surgeries should "Return to pre-pandemic physical distancing in all areas”. So why are we expected to wait outside in the cold and rain www only 4 people are allowed in the waiting room? Totally ridiculous.
They have barricaded themselves away with doors bolted shut to "protect us" and "them" and yet, do they, like us visit supermarkets. In which case what a charade.
So let's dig further ...
They get paid per annum. The less patients they see the more profits they make. Go figure, this works well for them.
If they were on the Titanic they would be shouting not "women and children first" but "doctors and nurses first".
Shame on them all.
Dr Copeland is exceptional in her care , she always takes time to listen no matter how busy she is . I'm in in healthcare myself and really appreciate her army GP
Surgery has 4 male doctors, one is brilliant, two are reasonable and the other is very difficult, shows no sympathy with the patient and has a bad attitude problem
Too many of the female doctors working a 2-day week, so had to wait 6 weeks to get an appointment. Husband's prescription for three consecutive months incorrect, items taken off prescription with no explanation or discussion with doctor, and time spent trying, and eventually succeeding, to get them reinstated; no apology from surgery, but prescription clerk did her best to help. Why same error for three consecutive months? Signing a repeat prescription is not rocket science.
Pharmacy very efficient and helpful.
Have been a patient for many years, and things have got much worse over the last three years, especially in having to wait a long time for appointments with ones "assigned" GP. The practice obviously needs larger premises and more doctors and nurse practioners to meet demand.
