Excellent service as always at this practice
The website for this practice informs me to use the Covid National Booking Service to get my Covid vaccination. Problem is the National Booking Service refuse to book me an appointment and tell me to make up a fictional illness to see my GP. I decide not to do this, I am polite and wait since January 2022 until today 12th April 2022 for them to arrange for me to have my Covid vaccination. I am 60+ and have NO ANTIBODIES against Covid and I have an autoimmune disease. I have learnt that complaining is now the ONLY thing I can do, so I am telling you all, don’t expect any help from this doctors practice as they do nothing about anything. I am asked to go for breast screening, cervical smears, flu jabs etc…would you go into a Covid ‘hot spot’ unprotected? They don’t care that I have to self isolate for months because of their lack of action.

We remain concerned about the effect of Covid-19 and, although we are pleased to see the restrictions relaxed, we are still mindful that rates of Covid in the community are very high. Please continue to wear a face mask if you enter the practice, infection control guidance for GP surgeries remains the same and requires us to continue to take precautions to protect vulnerable patients and staff.
The Weymouth covid-19 immunisation clinic is now closed, covid vaccination booking requests and queries should be directed to the National Booking Service – 119 or www.nhs.uk
So what am I supposed to do….back to my MP I guess and my councillors as well as having my family post this ‘nonsensical’ situation all over social media. I gave them a chance and I now feel as if they do not care.
Top class service from Reception to seeing the doctor. The consultation with the doctor was thorough and well explained. Not only were my symptoms used to diagnose my condition and treatment, but the kind manner of the doctor alleviated my anxiety.
Very impressed with Reception staff. It was very easy to book a telephone consultation with Nurse Practitioner Rebecca W? and that consultation was very thorough and professional but also friendly. Needed another consultation which was with Nurse practitioner Rebecca Pendlebury again very thorough professional and friendly as was my subsequent visit to her in the surgery. Today I was called by her with my results and she conveyed the doctors advice to me and I was told that she will review my health advice in 3 months time.
I am very impressed with this surgery and all it’s staff and count myself lucky to be one of their patients
