My first appointment with my new GP surgery and I was delighted! The admin was very good, save for having to wait a while for an appointment but I understand the resource constraints you are operating under. Sam was particularly good - kind, empathetic, and professional. Thank you!
Call queues can be very long
For this appointment I was seen quickly and blood results back within a few hours with a text sent to me from Dr Milne regarding results.
Probably not the fault of Cathedral Medical Group, standard lack of resources and very very long queues on the phone to speak to a receptionist to then be told there aren't any appointments available for at least a week or so. Not blaming the surgery for this.
It has in the past not been very easy to book a telephone appointment by phone as demand was great, but know with the present system it has improved, especially as when you phone in at 8-30 your phone number is held in a numerical position with a call back from your selfs, this is a great improvement stopping punters getting frustrated, well done
