Absolute disgrace needed an appointment as my husband had been diagnosed with a contagious stomach infection by a dr at the Longfield medical centre and was given medication they said they need to also inform public health, he suggested as his wife that I was tested or at least be given the medication. Sadly I am with Blackwater !!! I tried ringing for over an hour but no joy so hubby drove the 5 miles to the surgery only to be greeted by an incredibly rife arrogant receptionist behind the closed glass main doors and told him to phone when he explained the situation she was totally uninterested !!!! What’s worrying for me is I am a carer for my disabled son. Thank goodness for Longfield surgery for picking this up and for being friendly, understanding and OPEN to patients I may now have to go to A&E otherwise if untreated this could be another virus to spread Absolutely disgusting Blackwater I hopefully will now try and move over to hubby’s drs at Longfield at least they know how to treat patients SHAME ON YOU BLACKWATER

Just awful. Enduring the awful hold music is one thing, trying to get an appointment is a miracle. I was number 3 in the queue on the phone line and and 26 mins later I was number 2. Clearly staff don’t bother to answer the phones. Where is the management to act on this is basic function? Staff don’t care, GPs rarely have good communication skills. The wait to receive blood tests is outrageous. This surgery needs stronger management, more user friendly staff and to treat patients with respect and not as the nuisance disturbing their chinwags!!
