Was recently admitted to Ward G9 for treatment for a UTI. Unfortunately I was one of the only lucid patients in the ward and found it all very traumatic. I was unable to be transferred to another ward. I could not sleep for all the shouting from other patients, However I can only admire the nurses on the ward and the way they treated the older patients despite difficult circumstances. They were treated gently and with great respect as indeed I was. I consider myself lucky to be living near this hospital and feel very grateful for all the treatment I have received and are receiving at present. Impressed by the overall cleanliness. Well done WSH. Just wish my age did not define me when admitting me to a ward.
