Came in to have a standard MRI, wasn't told there was a wait, told they were running 'slightly behind' (I had already turned up 15 mins early for my appointment as requested). I waited 40 minutes! I then asked how long until I would be seen and they advised it was at least another hour wait. Whilst I understand things can sometimes run behind schedule, it would have been nice to have either been given a heads up as I arrived giving me the option to rearrange or a phone call before I actually arrived with the option of cancelling and rebooking. With the NHS, I haven't even had that long a wait apart from A&E at night! Disappointing and not very apologestic staff. I obviously left and will have to rearrange in the week.
