Absolutely disgusting, never been treated like that in my life, the staff are not happy, don't care an are extremely rude an insensitive, I can't believe they still got there jobs there.
I wish I had recorded my experience, there would definitely be a few staff losing their jobs, this is a terrible practice with rude staff, dirty rooms an a all round terrible experience.
The pre-triage nurse and the receptionist provided amazing care - their communication and care skills were exemplary. They treated an emotional situation with complete understanding and respect, they were calm and empathetic - totally brilliant.
This is such a great community hospital. It helps take the strain from the larger hospitals and Is invaluable to have it there when you need it.
I attend a variety of hospitals in my area. Teddington Memorial Hospital is my favourite because it combines efficiency with friendliness. There is seldom a long wait there to be seen for one's appointment. The venue is clean, there is constantly updated information about waiting times for those without an appointment, the little hospital shop is attractive and well-stocked considering its limited size.
The only drawback is the shortage of parking space, but it is usually possible to find somewhere to park not too far away ( which is still a bit of a problem if one has restricted mobility while not actually being registered disabled).
A very friendly and convenient hospital.
I have received care at both the A&E and the Outpatients Department of Teddington Memorial Hospital on several occasions. The staff are always very friendly, appointments run to time, and the waiting areas are comfortable and clean. I am very happy with the level of care that I receive here.
Only as an out-patient and very occasional emergency.
