Because there aren't many patients on the ward, there's barely anyone that joins the sessions that are planned everyday (which are written on the whiteboard every morning that everyone can see). That said, the sessions still go ahead, even if nobody joins, which I think is a good idea. It doesn't make the staff cross though. I joined a creative group today that involved decorating a box which, when finished, staff and patients can put positive thoughts, quotes, and the like, in it. I wanted to mention staff MM and KL as they kept the group going and turned it into a great session. They both have a really positive effect on the ward, I say positive - I mean they can always manage to cheer you up and raise a smile. I hope I've gotten my point across....

Aside from a great session today, it would be nice to have a bit more support from staff in general. A lot, there's staff that will huddle together in groups which makes you feel very excluded. There's some staff that just don't talk to you and only to their colleagues. Sometimes it feels like they only come here to socialise. It makes you think there must be something wrong with you, why don't they want to talk to me? What have I done wrong? I'm not the best at approaching people when I'm struggling but I can sit in a room filled with people, staff, and feel utterly alone
