Really hate st Mary’s hospital… my hand is sliced open. I’m covered in blood and dripping on the floor and the receptionist in the urgent treatment centre questions why I didn’t call 111 first for the out of hours doctor to call me back and tell me to come to the UTC or A&E. i had gone in to A&E who sent me to the UTC for quicker treatment as it was a longer wait in A&E I’m bleeding profusely. I can’t wait for a call back in 7 hours while I’m bleeding out when I can use common sense and just come to a&e for stitches that I know is need. Please retrain your staff. I was made to feel like a burden as she kept staring at me waiting for my treatment. The nurse who stitched me up was amazing but reception staff really let the team down. Would have rather gotten a ferry to Southampton still bleeding rather than deal with her again.
