I had rang 111 and they sent me to the Royal Glamorgan hospital. I have a stoma bag and there was a suspected partial blockage... when I arrived I got told I need to wait outside (in the cold) and they will call me when I need to go in... I had already been waiting half hour. I sat in the waiting room and was near enough shouted at to get out and wait outside (again in the cold). I needed the toilet and I asked if I could go, the lady on the phone huffed and puffed and said someone will be out to get me. No one came and a lovely gentlemen told the staff that I desperately needed the toilet and no one has come to get me. Anyway I went to the toilet and went back outside to wait. At this point I was in quite abit of pain and discomfort. I told them I need to be seen ASAP because I'm in pain and it's not fair waiting outside. They said I can go through, I went the wrong way and was told I'm in the wrong department. The nurse said 'go over the other side' baring in mind it isn't sign posted at all ... so I went around the other side, walked through the doors and seen a door for where I needed to go. I walked in and a nurse approached me looking at me stupid... I said 'sorry am I in the right place?' She asked where I was going and said really rudely yes but I came in the wrong way I need to go through the fire exit... anyway she let me in, instead of going all the way outside again just to go in through the fire exit. I heard the staff saying my name, saying how I'm stupid, laughing about me. They put me in a room on my own, forgot about me! And sent another patient into the room I was in. A nurse came in and said 'oh you're still here, I forgot you were in here'. Anyway an hour must of passed and the doctor came in, asking me irrelevant questions as to why I'm there. She felt my tummy and said nothing is wrong and I'm basically over reacting and gave me anti sickness tablets and sent me on my way. I'm waiting to hear back from my stoma nurses now... it was Sunday so I wasn't able to get hold of them. I'm very upset and disappointed in how they treated me. The place needs to shut down
