The operation was excellent with very good results with no scaring.
The aftercare leaves a lot to be desired. I did not receive an appointment to have the stiches removed and in the end I gave up after numerous attempts to make a hospital appointment.
I was concerned about leaving the stitches in for more than 2 weeks as the skin was growing over them.
I arranged to see our practice nurse who without the correct equipment removed them and it was very painful. She did state if they were left any longer it would have been an issue to have them removed.
After numerous cancelled appointments |I finally got the all clear and was signed off.
