I called QMH my home for nearly a year, I am very attached to it, but the food is awful, menus are monotonous and it destroys your soul to eat the same hacket fish and chips every friday, especially when you hate fish and the only other option is a baked potato, with coleslaw and no other choice of filling. I am not a christian and don't want to be part of any religion so I don't feel it is fair not to have alternative menus for those who don't believe in traditions such as eating fish on a Friday. It offends me that I have to celebrate these things when I'm not a christian, as I have stated I have no desire to eat the same traditional religious food every week. The whole menu for the hospital needs an overhaul as the food is not healthy or balanced or even tasty enough to nourish long term patients either.
