I was treated at the Princess Royal to remove a polyp in a "difficult" location. The operation was done efficiently and with a relaxed approach that made me totally imune to any embarrassment. I was offered a full anaesthetic but preferred a local. If having an operation can ever be described as an enjoyable experience I would indeed say that it was in this case.
The staff were all caring and attentive but light hearted and relaxed which was catching.
