waited 22 hour A&E untill seen.....sat there with a spinal fracture and 3 damaged vertabrae..
got seen and transferred to ward 8......in my opinion a special needs ward!
asked the question why was i placed there......because i was anxious was the answer!
i guess i was after a 22hrs wait in agony...got moved 4 time in my 10day stay from bed to bed....even placed in a covid patients bed after he went into isolation! was told it had been deep cleaned twice....2 hrs after moving in....the cleaners arrived to do a deep clean...i was not happy. the hospital is grubby, i came home with scabies and gastroenteritus ..like i didnt feel rough enough already....its just not clean enough...staff are fantastic...overworked but they are great....i dont look fwd to returning, but no doubt will have too one day...food excellent....hygiene/housekeeping is poor.
