This hospital has a very welcoming atmosphere and all the staff are lovely. The nurses really sympathised with me because I walked into the hospital alone. They came in to see me when I was in my room just before my op, and I was never left alone to worry. My anesthesiologist was lovely and put me at ease (because anasthesia was what I was most nervous about). All the staff treated me as an adult and didn't have any hint of a judgemental attitude towards my age when having this procedure, because I was always concerned about being 18 and having a breast reduction, and that people would judge me or question if I even needed it because of my age. My main day nurse was absolutely lovely, making my comfort her main priority. The food was healthy and the best quality, the rooms are en-suite, sanitary and spacious with good shower facilities. One Ashford hospital always kept me in the loop with phone calls and letters, and did not let me down once. The hospital definately exceeded my expectations!
