The A&E department was very very slow indeed. And there wasn't even a queue of people waiting. I saw the staff huddled around a PC for quite a long time, and didn't look like they were working. The ward staff were mostly very nice, especially the ladies bringing around the cups of tea and odd snacks. There was a bit of an argument between two members of staff at one point, but I couldn't see who they were. After my operation I left the Hospital but I wasn't really sure about anything I should do after leaving, I wasn't given enough information and left a bit worried about getting an infection in the wounds. My GP gave me some advice after I visited a few days later. Luckily I had no more problems. I haven't received a follow up appointment I was promised, or any test results. I presume they must all be OK.
