you can just wander into this hospital and no one asks you who you are or why you are there. Me and my friend stood at reception for five whole minutes once, a staff member looked at us, saw us and carried on chatting and laughing until they had finished, whilst waiting we saw them do it to others too. No one wants to complain for fear it will be taken out on their poorly relative. If I behaved towards relatives in my job in the same way over 90% of the staff do in this hospital then I would be in trouble. It's as if they expect you to be grateful but the staff are so disrespecful and some of them are just aggressive and there's no one to keep them in check or to complain to. It's a complete shambles.
