Once I was seen by the palliative nurse I wouldn't fault the care she gave me. She was sympathetic, compassionate and kind, and treated me as an individual person. I really felt that making me feel better mattered to her. She got me onto the right meds to ease my symptoms. My only negative would be that I would have liked to have seen someone sooner. The ward nurses said they had asked but it took 2-3 days. (possibly because it was the weekend?).
