I wish to praise and thank the wonderful nurses and doctor who cared for me during a recent colonoscopy in Endoscopy Unit of Llandough Hospital.
I suffer with severe anxiety and arrived at the unit in a state of panic and fear. From the outset I was cared for by teams who were, without exception, supportive and extremely patient. Every possible effort was taken to guide me through the processes in a manner which made me feel gently reassured, in a way I would never have felt was possible.
To the nurses at reception through to discharge, and to Dr Constable and his team I wish to extend my sincere and heartfelt thanks.
