I was admitted to A&E in a frightened and disorientated state. I was seen quickly in A&E where all tests were carried out.
I was then admitted to CDU.
Dr Knowles, the medical team and liaison psychiatric team were amazing and the care was excellent.
I would like to especially mention Charlotte Harper, a Health Care Assistamt who spent a bit of time with me and took me for a CT scan. She was so lovely and caring and provided reassurance. When I was discharged she took me out to our car and I was a little sad to say goodbye to her, such was the help she gave.
There is a lot of criticism regarding the NHS but I cannot thank Leighton enough.
