I feel they could have done more for me and not leave me in severe pain

They could have gave me stronger medice, they could have done an mri on me and they could have got the pain medicine doctors involved now i need to wait 30 weeks to bee sain bypain management tea.

Firstly the nurse diagnosed my symptoms wrong waited 12 hours for urine and blood tests I have to discharge myself worst experience .

my 93 year old mother was kept in a corridor all night on her own, she is blind and has dementia and should have been treated with more dignity than that !!! when calling the hospital during the night (I was out of the country at the time) it was very difficult to speak to anyone that would give any information and the information I was given was incorrect and totally unhelpful. the most helpful person was the switchboard guy who put himself out to try and help me speak to someone

obviously this is a NHS big problem staff wise, but elderly people like my mother should be treated quickly and with dignity. they have paid their dues to the country during their life and shouldn't have to be treated in this way. the amount of people using A&E unnecessarily also needs to be addressed

I was at the hospital for a total of 13 hours. The blood test happened within the hour or so which was good but it was overwhelming in the hospital, people were standing for hours as not enough seats. There were drunk and disorderly people there, lost your seat when you stood up to see the nurse or go to the bathroom. I was cannulated to have an mri done with contrast which was deemed by urgent on my records, but the records were not shared for the doctors to see so I was sent home and had no one to help look into why I was in so much pain. I am very disappointed with this. Even staff members were shocked.

Suggested improvements
More seating, more people coming round with food and drink, a TV to help with the bordem while waiting. To have a say in the treatment plan. The doctors and staff coming out kept saying the wrong names, didn't come round the corner where other people were waiting so people were missing their names being called.

I gave you this answer because, the nurse and waiting time was so bad. Though the dr and treatment gone well. It’s feels like they are literally not caring about health. I went for my headache pain but nobody care how I feel and what is the cause. They are just doing formality. I got my report after a long waiting and they didn’t bother about informing me. Nurse should have pronounced proper name first. They discharged me without informing me. I went through and ask nurse about my report at 21:00 and she informed me that according to data I discharged at 17:30. So this is so disappointed me. Please improve your service.

If you really want to improve something then please teach your mid staff to take care of patients well and improve your healthcare system by putting some screen in reception areas. So patients know what’s happening with them and when is their next turn. Thank you.
