I would like to commend nurse Sharon Gaskell for using her brains, not saying "my shift is finished now" as I was told by the first person I had asked and getting in touch with Mr. Talawadeka for me when I had decided to have the operation on my left shoulder, when I originally told him I wouldn't (then changed my mind). Sharon managed to contact him before he left the hospital and the operation was very successfully done. She not only helped me a lot but also Kath in the bed next to me, in Ward 1. I was in the hospital for 1 week and she works extremely hard all the time and really gets things done, when others let things "slide". More like her please, and give her a pay rise.
