I cannot express how grateful I am to the staff in the short-stay surgery department at Frimley Park. Their kindness and cheerfulness made a difficult experience so much easier. Instead of looking back at my surgery last Monday with alarm, I just recall the individual acts of kindness and cheerful words that made me feel so cared for. May I say that the people scattered around who help when you get lost are a God-send! I'm not sure if they are volunteers or not but am most thankful for them. One of them guided me to the ward and took me to the right person. When you are older and a bit nervous that make a world of difference! The surgery by Mr Osman went very well - thank you. I'd like to also thank the kind anaesthetist (whose name I don't recall) who made me feel like I was the only patient that day - though it was frantically busy! I liked his sense of humour...
