I find the silence in the imaging waiting room in the basement quite oppressive. All you can hear is the air conditioning. That combined with no windows (obviously as it’s in the basement) feels quite ominous. Maybe some music would help, I have not experienced this anywhere else in the hospital which always feels welcoming.

All the staff I came across yesterday were polite, helpful and professional. The MRI team were really lovely and put me at ease. Appointment was on time.
