Through the most frightening time of my life, Broomfield became my second home. The specialist nurses and oncologists, surgeons and chemotherapy nurses and specialists became my second family.
I would not be here if it wasn't for them. I would not have got through it physically and emotionally were it not for them.
I have never had any need to go to hospital in the past. The most attention I ever needed was to have a tooth pulled at the dentist! They were fantastic at Broomfield and I now know just how fantastically brilliant the NHS is and how lucky we are to have it.
I feel I was admitted to one of the best hospitals in the country. I will forever be grateful and just wish I could repay the kindness and professional help I was given
