I was told to make anappointment with the Health Care Assistant by the senior GP. Phoned 3 times to try and book this appointment but on every occasion the receptionist refused to book it. Saying it was not required. Most receiptonist have no formal medical or customer service training and this clearly comes across in their attiudes. Several times my reports from the Hospital have not been uploaded or reviewed by a GP despite these being sent electonically from the Hospital and or clinic to the Surgery. Average time you spend in with the GP for your appointment is between 3 to 5 minutes. Your just in and out. Although your never seen at your appointment time and Drs and Nurses often running late. Thsi used to be a fantastc surgery but now the standard of care and respect you receive from staff has declined considerably over the last couple of years. I wonder if this surgery should be put in special measures until the standard of care greatly improves and staff learn how to speak to patients and have received proper training on how to deal with the patients. Many of whom have serious and or long term on going conditions that require regular appointments at the surgery. So comments from receptionist like are they here again are both totally uncalled for and totally unprofessional.

Doctors, Nurses and Health Care Assistants are all great, Very difficult to get an appointment. Test results and Hospital medical reports not always uploaded on to patients records and not always reviewed by a GP. However, Surgery does offer commuter appointments between 07:00 and 08:00 for people who work which is good. It is conveniently situated at the Blackheath Royal Standard and well served by bus route 53 54 108 202 286 380 386 and 422 so good for elderly and disabled patients to travel to the surgery.

Receptionists extremely rude, I've never come across anything like it. Incredibly difficult booking system, I dread to think how the elderly or vulnerable make appointments at this surgery.

Shocking service! Receptionists are extremely rude. I cannot get an appointment, I've to ask my husband who's English to phone an book it for me. I've been living in the UK for 15 years, studied here but they always seem to make a point that they can't understand me and start speaking to me in a very patronising way. My experience with doctors is ok, but last time had a bad experience with a Middle Eastern doctor who told me off for asking a question after the 10m appointment. I get very stressed having to go there and unfortunately I've been quite a few times in the last months.

Absolutely shocking service! I'm going to change surgery as soon as I'm able. It's VERY chaotic; the doctors are rushed, appointments are interrupted, you're sometimes waiting for an hour or more, the receptionists are rude and unorganised. I tried to change addresses so my hospital appointment could be sent to the correct place...that was never done as the receptionist forgot. I kid you not. Every time I go there, I'm starting again as usually the doctors are away or have left. It's a mess and makes me sad for the NHS. New management required.
