Car parking was good and accessible. The waiting area was clean and tidy, an up to date notice board that was not cluttered. A table that was not cluttered with a large number of out of date magazines etc but had a few stored tidily on a shelf underneath. The seating was good with chairs with arms on to make it possible to get up and down. Wheelchair accessibility is good. The 'patient's chair' at the side of the doctor's desk also had arms on it which was perfect. There are far too many chairs that do not have arms in hospital waiting areas and restaurants for example that do not have arms making it extremely difficult to get up and down without assistance. Th receptionist and the doctor were without fault.

St Mary's is an outstanding surgery. My self and my family have used the services for many years. The reception staff are friendly and keen to help and this runs through to the nurses and doctors. I see Dr Burns and I find I am listened to and cared about. My health is monitored and I like the element of having a say in my treatment. I can also ask for a print out of the condition discussed as at times it is good to go through it afterwards. Referrals and follow ups are prompt. I always feel satisfied that the problem has been dealt with when I leave. The surgery goes the extra mile to help. I have elderly parents and I know they are very well monitored. If you compare this surgery to some other surgeries you know just how lucky you are.
