Having visited the Park Practice twice in February for minor surgery in the Dermatology Dept I was very impressed with the efficiency of the service offered, especially to a new patient not registered with them. The social distancing aspect from entry to the waiting Reception area was very good and my appointment was right on the dot. Dr.Price quickly resolved any apprehension on my part for having the treatment and the follow up appointment was very quick . Thank you!

Following major surgery, I fully expected follow-up and care from my GP - how mistaken I was, they literally were uninterested. Even the high-level consultant at the hospital in London was shocked that I have not been seen by my GP following such serious surgery. Park Practice used to be a very hands-on practice, caring for patients with long-term serious conditions but now myself and others feel neglected. I appreciate there is a 'crisis' in the NHS (isn't there always!!) but I think this practice has bitten off more than it can handle. It spends money employing nurses, 'paramedic practitioners' (LOL!) and even a pharmacist!! How about employing a few more Doctors instead of fobbing patients off to a nurse or 'Health Care Assistant' etc., who can't really do anything meaningful.

Telephone call-back system has now thankfully been replaced with some actual appointments. On receiving an apt I waited 30 mins and told by unhelpful reception girl wouldn't be long - 30 mins later -still not seen by GP - told reception I was going. Very very disappointed-

Rang Surgery at 8.30am, took a short while to get through. Receptionist very helpful and Dr Harvey rang bask at 8.50am. After discussion of symptoms was offered an appointment at 9.00am which due to distance I could not make but saw Dr Harvey at 11.40am. Examination carried out and prescription provided with advice on future action if required. First class service. I think the system operated by this surgery is brilliant whereby you can talk to a Dr usually on the same day and be seen very quickly if necessary

The receptionist are always helpful and bright and cheery. My GP again is supportive and friendly. The practise nurses are professional, helpful and chatty. The practise manager is open to receive suggestions and comments.
