Solely relating to the blood test. Unusually painful. Needle too deep to start with Quite large bruising from blood leakage That said nurse was professional.

Very difficult to get an appointment. I could not get an appointment to see a doctor for 2 weeks and had to phone back a week later. Managed to get an appointment in 2 weeks so a total of 4 weeks. My friend in Scotland rang for an appointment at 2pm at her practice and got one for 5pm the same day. I do not approve of the receptionist asking why you need a doctors appointment! I understand that it may be useful eg another practitioner may be indicated but I know that generally this is unpopular . Also, I have asked 4 times at reception to reset my password for the medical centre website and, although each time it has been given, it never works!

More doctors needed to cope with a growing population. Waiting 4 weeks for an appointment is unacceptable

I spoke to a receptionist about booking the appointment and she said she’d call me back which she never did. I attended the surgery in person to book the appointment- the queue was out into the street and it took about 30 minutes to talk to someone.

Online appointments / telephone appointments and return calls. Even better if you know you need an injection every 3 months to be able to book it at your appointment.
