Since dr wawrosz had left the surgery has gone down hill no online appointment dont get repeat prescription right and when you have a phone appointment doctor does not even look at notes or reason for appointment

I sat in the reception area this morning for 25 mins waiting for my appointment with the nurse and listened to obvious abuse the receptionist was getting over the telephone because there were no appointments left. Also the abuse from walk in patients who had just come in for an argument. I sympathise with the poor receptionist who had to take this , when none of the problems were her fault. The ring in at 8am appointments system unfortunately causes people to become irate when they cannot get through , I have problems with this myself as I work in Rotherham and I am driving to work at that time, but the first come first served system I used at my old Drs still had problems. People are not very patient and the ones I witnessed this morning were downright rude and quite aggressive to the receptionist and I personally think there should be more than one receptionist on at any one time because of the area the surgery is in. The nurse I saw this morning and the Dr I saw were both lovely and very easy to talk to so I would like to say thankyou for a pleasurable visit even if listening to other people's abuse was not very nice.

Dr Wawrosz is the best thing to happen to this surgery. Since he came to the surgery my health concerns are being listened to and addressed and referrals are being made. He is also very friendly, easy to chat with and clearly cares for his patients health and well being. Most of the receptionists are lovely friendly ladies and help you with most problems/queries. However my only criticism regarding reception is that there is one lady who's name I'm unsure of who fobs you off all the time. You ask for an appointment with a certain gp and she claims they are not working that afternoon and books you in with someone else. Then that gp comes out the room to shout the next patient and you realise you've blatantly been lied to. You ask for a call back and are told that they aren't doing call backs. So the only way to get ypur call back that the GPS are in fact doing is to lie and tell them that the said gp is expecting you to request a call back. Very concerning behaviour for a Doctors surgery receptionist. And a massive let down to the surgery.
