Katy Niccol graduated from Brunel University with BSc(hons) Physiotherapy in 2005, after completing a degree in Physiology and Sports Science at the University of Glasgow in 2001. She spent more than 6 years in the NHS working within Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, specialising in musculoskeletal conditions, before working in the private sector. She is acupuncture trained and has a special interest in sports injuries, having worked closely with high level rugby teams, and endurance athletes. After working in Nepal last year, she is currently contributing to a sustainable physiotherapy teaching tool for developing communities. Outside work, she plays a lot of sport and represented Scotland in the Touch Rugby World Cup 2011. www.prophysiotherapy.co.uk/
