Dr Elsa Gubert grew up in London. She studied medicine at Cambridge and then at University College London. She completed her GP training in North London in 2012. She currently works at the Brockwell Park Surgery in South East London. Dr Gubert developed a special interest in diabetes while working on a self management website for patients with type 2 diabetes (www.help-diabetes.org.uk, Ucl, 2011-2012). She has also worked in family planning clinics since 2012 and is passionate about women's health. She speaks French, German and Italian and has a good grasp of Makaton. Special interests include family planning and women's health, diabetes, end of life care and medical education.
