Mr Anindya Niyogi

Anindya Niyogi joined King’s College Hospital as a Consultant Paediatric Surgeon in November 2020. He also provides outreach services at Medway Maritime Hospital in Gillingham, and Maidstone Hospital in Kent. He was trained in 7 major paediatric surgical centres in the UK with a broad subspecialty experience. He obtained the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in September 2018 after completing speciality registrar training from the Great North Children’s Hospital in Newcastle. He worked as a Consultant Paediatric Surgeon at Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham from February 2019 before joining King’s College Hospital. In addition to having a strong clinical background, Anindya is involved extensively in academic activities after receiving the Masters of Health Professions Education degree. He is a GMC PLAB examiner, PLAB Station Management Member responsible for designing OSCE stations, faculty of MRCS and FRCS courses, and faculty of surgical skills courses from the Royal College of Surgeons. He is a co-founder and faculty on the SPRINT international virtual education programme for Paediatric Surgery.
