Dr Rahman has more than a decade of experience as a consultant psychiatrist including clinical lead for 24 bedded inpatient mental health rehabilitation hospital, a regional lead consultant for Lancashire addiction services, national lead for Young Person’s addiction services and over 5 years experience as a consultant psychiatrist for the NHS. He has provided ADHD assessments for CAMHS services in the NHS since 2004, and developed transitional ADHD clinics in 2008. These bridged the gap between children’s and adult services for ADHD. He has been with The ADHD Centre since 2019 providing over 4 years of dedicated bespoke private specialist assessments and treatments. He has publications in addictions, been a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists adolescent addiction working group and is an approved trainer for the Manchester Post Graduate Deanery
