I am a fellowship trained Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in disorders of the hip and knee. I perform high volumes of hip and knee replacements every year as well as having expertise in revision (redo) surgery. In addition I see patients with musculoskeletal injuries around the hip and knee. My practice is highly patient focussed with the aim of tailoring the best solution to each individual. I have a particular enthusiasm for enhanced recovery following surgery and am currently researching several novel methods of improving pain control and outcomes after hip and knee surgery. I am an educational and clinical supervisor to junior doctors in training and hold Honorary Senior Lecturer status at the University of Leeds.
