Anju is a Consultant Clinical Geneticist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital. She graduated with distinctions in Medicine and Pathology from Imperial College School of Medicine in 2000 and subsequently trained at specialist level in both Medical Oncology, at University College London Hospital, and Clinical Genetics at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, the Kennedy – Galton centre and the Royal Marsden Hospital. Anju has specific expertise in the field of Cancer Genetics. She has developed several guidelines for the management of individuals with an inherited susceptibility to cancer, including an internationally recognised Cancer Genetics app for healthcare professionals. She leads multidisciplinary specialist clinics for BRCA1/2 gene mutation carriers and other rarer hereditary cancer conditions. Anju is a member of the Sarah Cannon Research Institutes’ Genomic Review Board and medical advisor to the UK Genetic Counselling Registration Board. She has extensive clinical and academic experience in Cancer Genetics and has published, presented and taught on the topic at national and international level.
