Kathy Fan is the Professor in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at King's College Hospital and Kings College London, University of London. She studied dentistry at Guys Hospital (King's College London) before completing a PhD in Photodynamic Therapy in Head and Neck Cancer at University College London. Kathy then returned to study medicine at St Batholomew's and the Royal London Hospitals graduating in 2000. Following core surgery , she completed higher surgical training in oral & maxillofacial surgery and was appointed to consultant surgeon in 2008 at King's College Hospital a leading teaching hospital with affiliation to King's College London. Her interest are : Orthognathic surgery Skin Cancer and Photodynamic therapy Dentoalveolar surgery (wisdom eeth, jaw cyst) Mucosal lesions in mouth Temperomandibular Joint disorders ( surgical nd non surgcial) Salivary gland disorders Lasers including rejuvenation Non surgical aesthetics including laser and botulinum injections
