Qualifications MBBS FRCOG Diploma O&G Ultrasound MSc Reproduction & Development Year of first medical qualification: 1992 Professional profile I have had twenty-nine years of training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, twenty of which have been in the United Kingdom. I have thirteen years of experience as a consultant. For the past eleven years, I have been working at Royal Gwent Hospital/ Grange University Hospital as a Consultant and have a broad-based knowledge in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. I see patients privately at St Joseph's Hospital. My main interests now lie in the areas of ultrasound scanning, early pregnancy assessment, reproductive medicine, colposcopy and minimal access surgery, in which I have actively developed my skills and I have a special interest in recurrent miscarriage and infertility. I am proficient in both transvaginal and obstetric ultrasound scanning. I have achieved an MSc in Reproduction and Development at the University of Bristol and have a Diploma in Obstetric and Gynaecological Ultrasound. I was awarded the Michael Hull Prize for my dissertation for the MSc in Reproduction and Development and have completed the RCOG special skills module on ‘Ultrasound Imaging in the Management of Gynaecological Conditions’. I established and developed the Early Pregnancy Assessment (EPAU) and Emergency Gynaecology Assessment Units (EGAU) at Nevill Hall Hospital (NHH). I was the Lead for EPAU/EGAU. I am the labour ward lead for Grange University Hospital.
