I am a Consultant Cardiologist with an interest in all aspects of adult Cardiology and a specialist interest in Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (including angioplasty, stenting, complex coronary intervention, Rotablation, IVUS, Pressure wire assessment). I also maintain an interest in pacing for brady-arrhythmias. I was appointed as a full time consultant at the Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Trust in March 2008. I trained at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals medical school in London before completing a series of prestigious training jobs in London (A&E at St Thomas hospital, Renal medicine at Guy’s hospital, ITU on the Mead unit at St Thomas’s hospital and Cardiology at the Royal Brompton hospital). My cardiology specialist registrar training was on the Wessex rotation with 3 years spent at Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust. I completed Interventional cardiology fellowships in the Wessex Cardiac Unit, Southampton in the UK and the Green Lane Cardiovascular Unit, Auckland, New Zealand. I have published peer reviewed papers in interventional cardiology and remain involved in interventional cardiology trials.
